Accounts and purchases
Your email and account identifier are used to sign you in, provide purchased access and answer support requests. Purchase records contain the amount, currency, payment reference and refund status. Stripe handles card details; this site does not store your card number. Account and purchase information is used to provide the service you request.
Quiz results
The quiz stores your email, answers and scores so you can return to your results. Its recommendations use a fixed points system. They are suggestions, not decisions about employment or eligibility. Please do not include patient information or confidential workplace material in support messages.
Emails
Firebase sends sign-in links. Resend sends quiz summaries when you request them and the email service is available. Beehiiv handles newsletter subscriptions when you choose to subscribe. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in its emails. Newsletter consent is separate from taking the quiz or buying the playbook.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site. Google Firebase provides account sign-in and stores account-linked quiz and purchase records. Stripe processes payments, TidyCal manages bookings, and PostHog provides usage analytics. These providers may process information in countries outside your own. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
Browser storage and analytics
Browser storage remembers sign-in, reading preferences and lesson progress. PostHog measures page visits and feature use. The site does not need analytics to provide your purchased content.
How long information is kept
Account and quiz information is kept to provide access and saved results. Payment and support records may need to be retained for accounting, disputes or other legal obligations. Retention depends on those purposes. You can ask us to review or delete information that is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information, or to ask about restriction, portability or objections to its use. Which rights apply depends on the processing and applicable law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
